Netflix Site Outage?

Netflix Outage?

 Okay, I’m sad now.

Seems since the great news about NetFlix has been posted on Wall Street the NetFlix home page has gone down.  Anyone hear any news on this yet?

This just seen on the Netflix homepage:

The Netflix website is still out of commission.  This is not going to be helpful for their stock offereing.  Especially so close to such a great glowing report.  The Vultures are already circling to cause damage.

Netflix is back online at last look.  Enjoy!

  1. Netflix insults their customers. They’ve been sued for throttling movies, but all they did was re-word their site. What they want is for lazy hippies to pay $13 a month and sit on two movies for weeks, upping the price-per-movie to $7.50. They hate customers who actually use the service. If you watch and mail two movies at a time, you can get up to 10-12 movies a month, lowering the unit price to close to $1. If you do that, they stop sending you new stuff. Go with Blockbuster, or an online site. And tell Netflix thanks for the hate, the con, and the fraud.

  2. Eyeball –

I’m sorry you feel that way. I have the 3 at a time with a per month of $18.39 (after taxes). I tend to do 6 per week. 3 in 3 out and I get the new releases pretty much the same week they come out.

I have had the service for just about 2 years if not almost 3 years now. No issues at all. Now with Blockbuster, I have had many converts to NetFlix. Between scratched discs, having to go in and wait in line to have someone get you another copy at the store (whole point of having the service was not to have to go to the store) and long waits on shipping, they become frustrated. For people like this I always keep some of those “invites” from Netflix onhand. 🙂

Let me know if you ever change your mind and want to give them a try.
